Golden Flower
Forged in the heat of Florida comes one of the most exciting new voices in progressive jazz: Golden Flower.
This Orlando-based ensemble features Shawn Villanueva on trumpet, Caitlin Pequignot on violin, Patrick Moreno on electric piano, Brandon Kyle Miller on bass, and Cameron Gholami on drums.
The group focuses on the heartbeat of rhythm in each of their songs, intricately crafting compositions that explore international musical influences, adventurous improvisation, and deep emotional energy. Blending eclectic styles of jazz, progressive rock, funk, alternative rock, Afro-Latin music, South Asian folk, and electronic dance music, Golden Flower finds a sound and genre all its own.
