We're celebrating ONE YEAR of great music at New World Tampa! Come raise a glass and enjoy an afternoon of Americana, folk, and stories told through song.
🎤 OPENING: MIKE HANDLEY Tampa-born and Tampa-raised, Mike plays Americana and Folk with a side of genuinely funny songs. His specialty? Great songs you've never heard of, by great songwriters you've never heard of. A few good originals too. The perfect way to kick off the show.
🎸 HEADLINING: HANNAH'S WHIRL with special guest JOHN BOIS
Since 2003, the acclaimed Florida trio of Paul Arnone, Tami Wingard, and Pete Hennings (who joined in 2023) has been enchanting audiences with original songs and harmonies that stay with you. From intimate house concerts to the Florida Folk Festival, Hannah's Whirl brings something rare — stories that unfold beautifully through song.
Joining them is John Bois: biology teacher, record producer, and Florida music legend. From the near-mythic rise of The Dingoes to producing records for Cheryl Wheeler and Rita Youngman, and Hannah’s Whirl. John's journey through music has been anything but ordinary.
