Benny and Judy Maldonado join Trevor in an acoustic rhythmic power trio, a Band that is half as big as it sounds. Each Musician harmonizes together through each song with Latin percussion and afro rhythms to keep you on your feet. Trevor wraps it all up with his guitar playing by outlining the bass notes at the same time including lead parts, and he often arpeggiated open chords to sound similar to a harp. His guitar work gives you the impression you're listening to 3 synchronized guitarists. Their sets are an even mix of timeless originals, and covers wound up in roots.

Trevor Bystrom

An Independent Artist. Born and raised in Holmes Beach, a small barrier island south of Tampa Bay, Bystrom developed a passion for world music at an early age, falling in love first with the sounds of the Caribbean and later immersing himself in the work of a wide array of African artists. At sixteen, he began performing live and writing his own songs. Over the past decade Trevor played 1000’s of shows, and 100’s of Festival. Most recent collaboration Album “Mawanga & Bystrom” fuses American and Malawian culture into an adventurous, inventive, and deeply moving testament to our shared humanity.
