USF Jazz Ensemble I, led by Professor Tom Brantley, takes the stage for an exciting evening of big band jazz. As the university’s premier jazz ensemble, this contemporary 18-piece group is made up of top undergraduate and graduate music majors and showcases a dynamic range of styles—from classic swing to modern jazz compositions.
The program features music by jazz legends and contemporary masters including Count Basie, Thad Jones, Jim McNeely, Gordon Goodwin, Chuck Owen, and Ross Strauser.
Join us for a night of classic and cutting-edge jazz, performed by some of the finest emerging musicians at the University of South Florida. 🎶
